Pretty Little Things opened the doors in April, 2012 with the Mother/Daughter team of Brenda and Janna at the helm. These two delighted customers for two years with interesting home decor, handmade, vintage and unique items coupled with their Southern charm! These two were a wonderful addition to downtown DeLand and their vision was captured in this gorgeous shop!
As of May 1, 2014, Pretty Little Things changed hands for the next chapter in retail history. Tracey Word has taken over as the shop girl and is just tickled pink to be back in retail-as an OWNER! After a 10-year hiatus as a stay at home mom to 2 brilliant, creative and adorable children (not biased, just stating the truth), the timing worked out perfectly to take the reigns at Pretty Little Things! Tracey is an lover of all things Elvis, the color orange, vintage clothing, Volkswagen beetles, old houses, Diet Pepsi, collecting weird things (1950's elves, lady head vases, Christmas ornaments, souvenir state plates, ID bracelets-to name a few) and candy (all makes, models and flavors). She's a vegetarian that loves vintage holiday decor, travel, museums, reading and junking. She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, Girl Scout Leader, wanna be photographer and Bicentennial Baby!
